We stayed there for a night in the hot tub room which is small and overpriced but ok. We then went to go have a meal in the bar downstairs and the old, grumpy bartender was astoundingly rude to us! First we were ignored, then we were told to go elsewhere if we wanted better service. When we complained to the Front Office manager about this, Michael Hall, he defending his terrible staff and paid no attention to the horrible way we were treated or now that he has lost customers who stay in Banff all of the time but we will also tell friends and family to definitely steer clear from this hotel since they pay no mind to customer service or how to properly treat people. This manager obviously needs some class and obviously needs some proper manners. Your managers at this hotel should all get fired and start new so that maybe you can have qualified staff working here. This hotel is not nice enough for people to put up with this unprofessional behaviour.

The Rundlestone Lodge is a great place to stay if you're in Banff. The walk to downtown takes a while but easily walkable. This allows the hotel to be in a quieter area of Banff if you prefer that. Room service was fine, no issues.

We ate at the restaurant Bumpers Beef House for dinner on May 4 2018. The food was excellent and the service was great. Not a super high end fine dining experience but a good steakhouse if you're looking to indulge in some of that world famous Alberta beef. Meals come with unlimited access to their salad bar and the portions are definitely made to satisfy. My wife had the prime rib and it was cooked exactly how she likes it. I had a rib steak and it was very tasty.

Great reasonably priced hotel on the outskirts of Banff.Nice rooms with great staff and good restaurant and bar.Good indoor pool and hot tub, well you have to don't you 15 minute walk from all the tourist stuff in downtown Banff or a 3 minute bus ride.Short cab ride to the Rocky Mountaineer rail station.

The staff at Rundlestone made us feel so welcome! We stayed here for our elopement and have never been treated better!!! The best are comfortable, jacuzzi is awesome, fireplace made the room so cozy, and we didn't get to take advantage of the pool but it looked really nice! They also had free bicycles you could take into town and the underground parking was great! We will definitely be coming back!!!
