HOLY COW what a place. You can spend a lifetime just exploring the inside of the place. It radiates with history and prestige. Probably any room you can get will have a kick ass view, but if you're spending a lot of time in your ROOM here then you're not doing it right. This place and its surroundings are too magical to not seize the day throughout. The pools here are super cool and accessible throughout the year. Within walking distance of the golf course as well as a cool pub. Valet is also very attentive and nice. The staff is very professional all throughout. There's a very cool place to eat and drink within the hotel that will have live music performances that;ll usually be along the lines of one to four musicians doing their thing.
This is such an amazing and historic hotel! When it was originally built, there were no expenses spared. It is the perfect combination of classic and modern. They have maintained and celebrated the history of the hotel while making it modern and comfortable. Every room of the 700+ room hotel is unique. The employees are really nice. There are fancy shops and more reasonably priced ones. The golf course is gorgeous and the views are stunning! There is a free tour every day at 1. Take it! It is great and really interesting.
Love the hotel. Great lobby and great grand building. They tell you at check in not to tip as what we paid is included in the services they give. Lots of restaurants. Room has been updated and was large. We got a nice view. There's a hotel history tour every 1 pm. And a gold course tour at 530 pm. There's a free shuttle to downtown every 20 min. People nice and friendly and courteous.
So amazing. Just wondering around the hotel was entertaining. Every inch of the hotel was beautiful. Watch out, you will get lost as it is huge. They provide some games outside and great places to relax and take in the mountain air. So worth the stay.
Nothing negative to say about Fairmont Banff Springs. Best hotel experience I've had in my life. Location is great as it's quiet. Food and drinks are amazing. Best breakfast buffet I've ever had. 5 star service.
