Spacy seatings. Presentation is excellent. Ordered the bison trio. Short ribs is the most delicious. Sausages are good but you won't be able to tell they are made of bison.

We went here to celebrate our birthdays (5 ladies). We had reservations but our table wasn't ready when we arrived. While waiting, they had us seat by the bar and gave us complimentary drinks of our choice. The ambiance was cozy, lovely, and modern. Their menu isn't overwhelming- it's simply- appetizers and mains- which I liked. Our server was really patient, friendly, and was helpful in giving us tips to go around Banff. 4 out of the 5 individual dishes that we ordered, we liked. They were delicious with full of flavor. Our friend who ordered the duck with beet risotto wasn't very keen on it. She found the duck meat tough. We also found their table knives dull. The bison ribeye that was served was cold, they recooked it. At the end of our meal, we were served a complimentary platter of desserts to celebrate our birthdays. We got to taste all of the desserts the serve- which was really nice. The desserts were all so good, rich, and delicious. It was a fine experience eating in the restaurant.

Great service and atmosphere. Bison steak and bison short ribs was delicious. Escargots are awesome if your into that. Wine pairing was good too. Would definitely go back again.ake resos

We had an overall pretty good dinner here. The cocktails were interesting, food was good, but the reason for docking two stars was due to the desserts. Holy hell they were terrible. I ordered the sticky date pudding and my husband ordered the chocolate cake. Both desserts were super dry, but the worst part was the vanilla "ice cream". It was more like vanilla flavored granita: super icy, very little cream, and came in a very small portion which I normally would hate, but I was glad to have less of it here. Tl;dr don't get dessert here

Very warm welcoming. Never waited too long for an interaction with the wait staff or hostess. My girlfriend and I was serviced by the bar tender. He was a little busy with the bar making drinks but still did his best to be attentive and refill our glasses. Everyone was knowledgable about the food and product which made it clear it was a point of pride to the restaurant. The food was very contemporary, but wasn't fusion-y. When I see asian inspired dishes at a western style restaurant I tend to roll my eyes out of my sockets but I was wrong this time. They were tastefully done and very well balanced. A must go-to I will say!!! Will come back for sure to try the Bison Trio.
