If I could give them zero stars, I would. This was honestly one of the worst meals I've ever had. Super dry burger and the most stale bun I ever tasted. When I looked inside it didn't even have any condiments. I would have sent it back but my server was no where to be seen for over an hour. Didn't come check on the meal once either. Had to flag down a different waitress to take our plates away. Just horrible overall. DEFINITELY would not be back and would highly NOT recommend to anyone. Lots of other really great spots in Banff. Don't waste your time here.
Where I go to watch the game. I love the food and service here. Quite often I will come to E&O on my lunch break. I always sit at the bar top. Fast service, good food, fair prices.
Just had lunch and it was a terrible experience. Once our food came out the waitress did not check on us for an hour, we were going to order more drinks but she was nowhere to be found. Once we raised our concerns to another waitress, she told us "she wasn't getting paid enough for this type of situation and will get her manager". The manager listed to our concerns and disappeared for some time. When he came back he told us we would get 20%off our bill, but the bill was not separated as requested at the time of our order. He also asked us "if this would make us happy?". Needless to say this line did not elevate our experience. The food was mediocre at best and all of burger buns had no sauce of any sort on them so we couldn't eat our burgers as they were too dry. This we could have addressed with the waitress but she never came by. To top it all off the manager asked if he could buy us a drink at the bar when we were paying our bills. No thank you we just spend 2 hours sitting in this place, get us out of here. PS, we have better wine at home.
The atmosphere was nice and lively, and the servers were very friendly. The food came out a bit slow but tasted great. The elk dishes here are very unique. Would definitely recommend!
After a long, physical day of cycling and kayaking, we were looking forward to a nice meal before driving back to Calgary. As we waited patiently, other tables were seated, ate and left all around us. When we pointed this out to our waiter, he went off to investigate. A full 10 minutes later, he came back to tell us that unfortunately, the kitchen lost our food order. He went away again and came back another 5 minutes later to tell us that the kitchen was rushing our order through. 20 minutes after that, we we had our meal. The food was excellent. When the manager eventually came to apologize (this should have been the first thing that happened), he said that the meal would be 20% off today because of the inconvenience. He then stood there as though we were supposed to thank him. I informed him that this was their mistake and that the entire meal should be complementary. He then agreed to take 50% off.Not impressed with the service, but the bison burger was awesome.
