I offer the perspective of the spouse of a patient of Dr. Hall-Findlay when I report her and her team were brilliantly professional and skilled. There were no false or out-sized promises, and her advice and guidance was empowering for my circumspect spouse. I observed Dr. Hall-Findlay listening intently to my spouse's many questions; heard responses that were thoughtful, insightful, and must have been informed by decades worth of experience and expertise. I've spoken to other spouses who've had similar surgeries and concluded Banff Plastic Surgery was a sensational choice. I had no intention of leaving this review but when I saw commentators who have never met the surgical and care team proffer condeming reviewsI felt compelled to write this review. I hope you do not allow those so easily given to manufactured online-outrageand their apparent inability to blush while they anonymously stamp out their uninformed petty complaintsdiscourage you from choose this doctor as your own. My spouse is demanding and discerning and one who could not be more pleased with their guidance, surgical work, and post-op care.
I read your blog you posted on your website in January 2018 on breast implant illness and it saddens me that youre saying you dont think it exists. Id be interested to see your blog/opinion of Breast implant associated large cell lymphoma (warning on health Canadas website and FDA)Im in no way bashing your ability or skill at your trade, but this illness DOES exist and the proof is in the tens of thousands of women dangerously ill, explanting and getting better.I encourage you to urge people to educate themselves and make their own informed decision.
My experience with Dr. Hall-Findlay and her medical team was exceptional. From the first consultation to the actual surgery they continually educate and ensure that you understand every detail of the process. Dr. Hall-Findlay not only is an amazing surgeon, but she cares and wants the best for all of her patients, and her years of experience and expertise are proven in her amazing and beautiful results. Words cannot express the level care and attention that she and her staff give to their patients. From the initial consultation to the post-op; the knowledge, skill and attention to detail that this team has is nothing but incredible. I have never felt more confident in a doctor and her medical team, and I proudly recommend her to everyone who is considering plastic surgery.
Dr. Hall-Findlay, and the amazing team at the Banff Plastic Surgery Clinic, surpassed any expectations I'd set. Dr. H-F was incredibly professional, kind, and compassionate, and the nursing staff was absolutely incredible. They were welcoming from the consult, and not once did I ever feel uncomfortable or unsafe. I was super nervous (obviously) and any concern I had, as silly as it may have been, was addressed professionally and fully. I was super nervous about scaring but - already i can tell they are going to heal well and i'm impressed at how well placed and not noticeable they are. I opted to stay in the Banff area the day of, because I know sometimes I react poorly to anesthetic but, I felt much better than expected the next morning and the clinic even allowed me to have my "follow up call" in person - during their lunch break! I couldn't be happier with the result, and I cannot wait to be fully healed up.
My experience at Dr. Hall-Findlay's office exceeded all my expectations. I visited many surgeons before meeting Dr. Hall-Findlay. Once I met with her, the experience and treatment was an entirely different level than any other plastic surgeon office. After meeting her, I ended up cancelling any other consultations I had booked. Dr. Hall-Findlay taught me so much about my procedure. It was clear to me that she wants her patients to know as much as possible about their procedure, have realistic expectations, and are made well-aware of what to expect and pre- and post-op. When I met with other surgeons, I was basically told that I could have any kind or size of implant I wanted, and they did not take into account my body type or my lifestyle. It was so refreshing to have Dr. Hall-Findlay tell me exactly what my body could handle for breast implants, and she was able to show me almost exactly what I could expect them to look like. I also did not know how important it was to share the same aesthetics as your surgeon. I feel like I could have so easily ended up with the wrong size of implant, and could have had all sorts of complications I am now witnessing some of my friends go through who went with other plastic surgeons who agreed to go with implants that are much too large. I am now 2 months post op. I often email her office with random questions that come to mind and I am always responded to within an hour, and with the most thorough of answers and advice. I know that my relationship and care did not stop once my surgery concluded.
