A great store to purchase for any locals and tourists that offers range of diverse products from other countries (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, etc.) and offers travel size toiletries. Brightly lit store while other sections are a tad dark. There is Starbucks inside for a quick pick me up. The speed of service can be perceived to be slow for others. Also certain products are more expensive compared to Calgary prices. Overall, a great place for almost all of your needs.
Fair prices, a lot of great pre-made food, and an excellent location for tourists to grab food for their cabins or rooms. Parking can be difficult and the place can get really busy.I was thinking this place would be super expensive being in the heart of the city. We were pleasantly surprised.
Since Banff Nation Park town is very expensive, this IGA was a great find. Lots of fresh fruit and veggies. Everything a home city has and great prices.
Conveniently located, reasonably priced market right in Banff! Great for helping to stretch your travel budget further. Store was clean and mostly well stocked. Looked like a group of chip/crisps lovers had almost cleaned them out.Picnic areas in Banff abound so highly recommended to take advantage of the outside eating/scenery and make your own food.
The good: it's a grocery store with lots of items and some obscure items that little satisfy their precious customer base. The bad: the place is a lightning rod that attracts dumb tourists. They can't drive, can't park, can't use shopping carts and don't know how stores work. All in all, very typical of Banff.
