Great service and food. If sugar and calories are not an issue for you, it worth a try. My family and friends always go to this store when visiting Banff.
I had my first beaver tail today and it was excellent. Women there are very friendly.
Quite sad in how the quality has changed over the years. The beaver tails used to be a bit longer...and used to have more dough. Now...its literally a cracker...rather than a fried dough. Deeply saddened in the quality and quantity..despite the increased price. I would highly suggest the starbucks (right beside)...which has been consistent over the years.
Delicious! Fresh, crispy, and sweet goodness. The whole wheat dough gives it a nice difference in flavour profile compared to something like your garden variety elephant ear. A little pricey at $7.25 (tax inclusive) for what I got, but probably worth the price for a novelty local sweet.
Definitely a must try if you are in Banff. I looked up Canadian treats to try while visiting and the beaver tails were at the top of the list and did not disappoint!
