Solid 4.0If you are pretty smashed after a night of heavy boozing usually from Rose and Crown above this will ail your hunger. The pizza is alright, however I wouldn't give 5 stars simply because the shop itself isn't very large. At 1:30-2 AM when all the bars close everyone seems to crowd inside. And if it is winter you'll be even more crowded. Not exactly the most fun, but could be if you like being 15cm away from the face of the person next to you. The good pizza does make up for the small space though and in a pinch it will work, open later than the bars too.Nicework Aardvark.
I can't figure out the reviews on here, though I have never ordered delivery. This is some seriously good pizza, with an incredible base and good sauce. We go most often while driving back to Calgary, as Banff is too nuts in summer to stop in for a meal. We call in the order and then we almost always find a spot on the street behind (Beaver) or else we send somebody in and do a lap around.
We ordered 4 large pizzas for our road construction crew of 12. There was half of it left. Easily the worst pizza any of us had ever had. I'm pissed I thru away 134$. Dont waste your time. Not good. GROSS
I would rate it 0 stars if I could. The delivery took over an hour and it was raw. We talked to a guy on the phone about the raw pizza and he was super nice, said to bring it in the next morning and they would give us a refund no problem. We came in the next morning and The GENERAL MANAGER Nana had told us that the pizza was cooked and if we wanted it more than that wed have to ask for well done. Most of the people in Banff are tourists whove never been there so how are we supposed to know that the pizza is served RAW and we should ask for well done. We continued to explain that the middle of the pizza was super raw, soggy and doughy. She said its supposed to be like that because the sauce is on it and when they cut the pizza it gets soggy. Ive never heard of this in my entire life. On top of horrible pizza and customer service she was making fun of us to the employees and they were all saying that the pizza is fine and that we were being ridiculous and made mocking comments towards us. She was the rudest person I have ever encountered with in the food industry, absolutely disgusting behaviour. Do not recommend this place to anyone. I worked in the food industry business for 3 years and could never imagine treating a customer like this. I am now serving in the military and found this behaviour and the general manager altogether repulsive.
Do not recommend delivery. Took them over an hour and a half past the time it was suppose to be delivered to bring it. Called the place and the guy had nothing but excuses (short staff, late at night, one driver... etc) Couldn't offer a discount or anything said it was my fault for ordering late.. Ordered at 11:30pm... Not happy..
